There are many elements to a fashion trend. There is the styling, the fabrics, the colors, the specific details, but these are all generated from a central theme or viewpoint. These central themes can originate from nostalgia, a Mad Max sense of gloom about the future, or a runaway best-selling novel. Here are the macro trends I see in the fashions for Fall 2011.
