Spring Fashion Trend: Color!

After years of spring fashion shows dominated by white, khaki, and nude hues, the fashion powers-that-be have given us color and a lot of it! There are neon greens and yellows, hot pinks, cobalt blue, and violent violets, sometimes all together in the same outfit! If you like color, this is your season. Enjoy!

Golden Globes Fashion

I was going to do a best and worst list, but found so little I liked on Sunday night, that I will just honor the best, worst, and best newcomer. I really did have trouble narrowing down my pick for worst dressed. I was not keen on the dresses the color of putty and also not keen on the bedazzled longsleeve dresses. They did not remind me of the 1940s, but rather the Miss America contest, circa 1974. No need to revisit that era! So, drumroll please, best dressed goes to newly blonde Emma Stone in her chic, minimalist Calvin Klein.

My favorite newcomer is True Grit's Hailee Steinfeld in Prabal Gurung.

And sadly, my least favorite look of the night came on Sandra Bullock. Normally a favorite, I hated the bangs, the makeup, and the dreary dress that Sandra Bullock wore.
